§ 90-266. Trash and rubbish disposal.

  • (a)

    Trash and rubbish shall be placed with the garbage in the prescribed containers, whenever possible. Trash and rubbish occurring in volumes too great to be included with garbage may be placed in other types of containers, provided the containers do not exceed 100 pounds in weight when full, and the trash shall contain no garbage.

    (b)

    Leaves shall be piled in piles just back from the curb in the area between the curb and sidewalk. If no sidewalk exists, the leaves shall be piled in the same general vicinity as the curb, but shall be piled in a manner so as not to block the flow of water in the gutter or side ditch of the street.

    (c)

    All branches, limbs and shrubbery shall be cut into lengths of six feet or less, and no single piece shall exceed 100 pounds in weight.
