§ 90-271. Nonpayment of charges.

  • (a)

    Should any person liable for payment of the charges fixed and imposed by this article fail to pay the charges within ten days after having been billed for such charges, the city clerk is authorized to issue an execution against such person in the same manner provided for in cases of default in the payment of bills to the utility commission, and shall deliver such execution to the city marshal for a levy and sale as provided by law.

    (b)

    Any person, for any reason, failing or refusing to pay the monthly sanitary and health charge provided for in this article, after having been duly billed by the city for such charges, shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this section, and all sanitary and health services and utility services provided by the city to the premises for which the monthly charges are past due shall be terminated by the city.
